BYOG: BUILD YOUR OWN GARMENT

SCREEN PRINTING

The BYOG print production shop runs two automatic and one manual silkscreen printing presses, including the state of the art 10 color M and R press, as well as two heat transfer presses. We are capable of printing on light and dark t-shirts and other garments with a maximum image size of 12.75” by 17.75”. We use industry standard retensionable screens, which means a higher quality, detailed silkscreen print. In addition, we do special effect printing such as puff printing, high density, glitter or sparkle print, as well as photo-realistic, full-color images. Scroll down to see what we can do!

SPECIAL EFFECTS:

CAVIAR BEADS Here we apply tiny clear beads over a ny color in the design which makes it shimmer and shine in the light and will not fall off even after repeated washings. The original color of your design shows through the clear beads, but is given a 3 dimensional look and feel (since it feels neat too!).
RHINESTONE This technique is really cool as it gives the illusion of metal rivets or nailheads in the garment. It can be given numerous metallic finishes, from gold to silver to brass, as well as specialty colors like metallic blue. The hardened nailheads will not peel off and stand up to repeat washings as they are not glued to the fabric but actually printed on it!.
LEATHER This look gives the appearance and feel of worn leather. Can be glossy or a matte finish and can also be printed in a variety of colors.
METALLIC SHIMMER With this technique we apply a layer of shimmering metallic flakes which shine brightly with a rainbow of colors when in direct light. Stands up to repeated washings too! This look works best on dark garments. Click on the image to the right to see a more detailed picture of the silver as well as the gold versions of the shimmer application.
HIGH DENSITY Bring your logo into the third demension! While this is hard to show on the screen, high density ink raises off the garment not unlike a plastic or rubber material. Durable and Rugged, try this to outline your logo (like the image on the right) or make the whole logo raise off of the shirt.
LINTICULAR This technique allows a phantom image to appear when the design is viewed from an angle. In the example below, the words Club Sport® are clearly seen when viewed straight on and the word "TENNIS" appears when the design is viewed from an angle. This technique works with both text and images-the only limit is your imagination!
